A set of 95 Tamil females military of the Sri Lanka Army organised their moving out celebration at Protection Power Head office in the former LTTE stronghold of Kilinochchi in the northern.
This was the first time the Army saw such a huge number of Tamil females becoming a member of the company en bloc, although the Army has had a reasonable number of Tamil lady authorities providing it ever since its beginning, military authorities said.
Speaking on the event on April 21, Brigadier R Ratnasingham said females authorities were enrolled to the Army to set up a good relationship and municipal co-ordination between the Tamil team in the North and the Army.
Recruited to Sri Lanka Army Females Corps, these lady military have finished a four 30 days coaching at the Bharathipuram Army Training university in Killinochchi.
These females from Mullaithivu, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Mannar places during their military coaching experienced IT coaching, Sinhala and British studying, coaching for Civil-Military interaction, getting back together, the authorities said.
They would be implemented to provide as municipal matters planners and individual in the northern soon.
The army, since the end of the military issue with the LTTE, has taken actions to broaden its cadre to signify the different cultural places in the isle.
The army has been often known as as the Sinhala Army by Sri Lanka's worldwide experts.
The Tamil females from the issue places were aspect of the LTTE's women's side who were in assistance during the years old issue.
